MOURNING IS A NATURAL PROCESS

Grief is the natural process that takes place after a significant loss.

During the mourning process a whole series of responses and mechanisms occur naturally to deal with the loss.

This process allows us to adapt to the impact that occurs in the life of the person who has suffered the loss.

THE IMPACT OF LOSS

The impact of a significant loss can affect to a greater or lesser degree all areas of human experience: the physical dimension (our body), the mental dimension (our way of thinking), the behavioral dimension (the way we act) the emotional dimension (the way we feel) and relational (the way we relate to our family, partner, work environment…) and the spiritual dimension (our beliefs).

WHEN TO CONSULT?

In this process of great vital impact at all levels (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relational) we can feel the need to go to a professional to help cope, guide and accompany the process.

Specialized support responds to the specific needs of the grieving person, which are often neglected socially speaking, and promotes a healthy evolution of the process, respecting the pace of each person and the security of the relationship that is forge throughout the accompanying process.

During this process of mourning there are a several aspects and issues, such as the circumstances of death, perception of suffering, unresolved issues, the future that will no longer be lived, the impact of the communication of the bad news, not being able to participate in the ritual, non-anticipation, among many others, that may need to be addressed specifically.
