After a traumatic loss, I participated in two workshops led by Emma Navó. The writing allowed me to bring my pain into reality and also allowed my emotions to evolve over time. Through the arts I could explore the traces of what had been a significant loss for me in my life. I also became aware of the great healing power of the ritual. Emma accompanies with great sensitivity, delicacy and respect. She knows how to leave the right and just space, and also has provided confidence to myself to understand suffering both from the emotions and from the body. |

Emma appeared in my life unexpectedly as she was mentioned in a conversation with a mutual friend during one of the toughest moments I've ever had. The space we created together was like a haven where I became able to express, put in order and put into words my thoughts and emotions with freedom. In the spring of 2019 I participated in the workshop Veus en dols organized by Emma. During the sessions I experienced how the written and the spoken word is capable to untie knots, soften, open channels of expression from the heart, and weave bonds of support and accompaniment. The way Emma conducted the workshop with her calm, open and respectful presence and the practices and exercises she prepared —along with the commitment and complicity of all of the participants—, made it possible.
